Workshop Dates

December 11 and 12, 2014

 

Meeting Venue

City Hotel, Bishek

The seminar will be held on 11 and 12 December at the City Hotel: 34 Baytik Baatir street, 720001 Bishkek.

The opening ceremony will take place at the big conference hall of the hotel. The ceremony will start at 9.30 am on Thursday 11 December. We advise to arrive at 9.00 am due to the time required for registration.

Free wireless internet connection is available inside the meeting venue.

 

Accommodation

Participants coming from outside of Bishkek can make a hotel reservation at the registration page. The costs will be covered by CAEP (except for the EU experts) for the 2 consecutive nights (from 10 to 12 December).

Hotel

Participants of the workshop will be staying at the hotels Holiday and City.
Hotel Holiday is situated in: Abdrahmanov street 204, 720140 Bishkek.
City Hotel is situated in: Baytik Baatir street 34, 720001 Bishkek.

Check-out time is 12 noon.
Internet connection is free of charge.
We would like to remind you that you are a guest at the hotel on a bed & breakfast basis. All extras (telephone, bar etc.), additional nights (outside the agreed schedule) must be settled directly by you with the hotel before checking out.

 

Travel

Participants from outside Bishkek can order prepaid economy class air tickets for return flights to Bishkek at the registration page. The costs will be covered by CAEP.

The air ticket will be sent electronically to the registered participant no later than 5 days before departure. The participant is obliged to keep the boarding passes and to give them to the organizers during the workshop in Istanbul.

  • The boarding passes for the flight(s) to Bishkek have to be handed over to the project manager at the workshop.
  • The boarding passes for the return flight have to be sent to Ms Tina Herlitzius, GOPA Consultants, Hindenburgring 18, 61348 Bad Homburg, Germany or scanned and sent via email to the project manager: oyuna.baldakova@gopa.de.

In addition to the above, the local travel expenses can be invoiced and reimbursed against the original documents.

Transfers between the airport and your hotel will be organized for you according to your flight schedule: this may imply some limited waiting time between arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel Holiday/City.

At the airport, you will be welcomed in the arrival area by the hotel Holiday driver carrying the CAEP/ЦАПО logo:

Visa

The participants are responsible for taking the necessary steps to obtain, if required, a visa for entry to Kyrgyzstan and /or a visa for the country/ countries of transit on the way to/ from Kyrgyzstan.

Visa costs will be reimbursed against receipt.

 

Meals

The workshop organizer is pleased to offer you the following meals:

  • December 10: Dinner
  • December 11: Lunch & Dinner
  • December 12: Lunch
  • Coffee breaks will also be provided during the workshop.
  • Breakfast is included in your hotel reservation.

GALA DINNER

arzuOn the 10th of December our Gala Dinner will take place at the Arzu Restaurant, which is located at: 7 Togolok Moldo, Bishkek, http://www.arzu.kg/ru.

On the 11th of December our Gala Dinner will take place at the Senator Restaurant, which is located at: 43, Aaly Tokombaev st., Bishkek, http://smak.kg/senator-2.

sonkolOn the 12th of December our dinner will take place at the Son-Col Restaurant, which is located at: 110, Chui Pr., Bishkek, http://sonkol.imse.kg/.

A shuttle bus to go to the restaurants will be provided on all the days.
Meeting point: on 10.12 at 17:00 p.m. at the Сity hotel and Holiday hotel lobbies, on 11 and 12.12 at the Сity hotel lobby at 17:00 p.m. In case if your flight arrives early on the 10th of December and you decide to go visit Bishkek, please, come to the Arzu restaurant at 17:30 p.m.

 

Languages

The official language of the workshop is English.

Interpretation from English to Russian and from Russian to English will be provided during the workshop.

 

Weather Forecast

wheaterIn Bishkek in December the weather remains cold with the temperature between -10°C in the night and -1°C during the day.

 

 

Organization & Logistics

Practical Information – Registration and Reimbursement Procedures

Registration of the participants will start at 9 am on the 11th of December next to the big conference hall of the City Hotel. Here you can get your participant’s folder with all the seminar’s working documents.

The boarding passes for the flight(s) to Bishkek have to be handed over to the Project manager Ms Oyuna Baldakova at the workshop.

The boarding passes for the return flight have to be sent to Ms Tina Herlitzius, GOPA Consultants, Hindenburgring 18, 61348 Bad Homburg, Germany or scanned and sent via email via email to the project manager: oyuna.baldakova@gopa.de.

In addition to the above, the local travel expenses can be invoiced and reimbursed against the original documents. Reimbursements will be made in Euro according to the official European Commission exchange rate.
